The Columbia Neuroscience Society is an interdisciplinary community of students and is the oldest student-run organization in STEM at Columbia University. Throughout the year we implement initiatives to facilitate multidimensional discussions between students and experts in the field of neuroscience. We aim to raise awareness and spread scientific literacy through the Columbia campus, the greater New York City area, and our thriving community of scholars. A few of our past events and initiatives include Brain Awareness Week, the Saturday Science Program at the Zuckerman Institute, the intercollegiate Encephalon Conference, and our Neuroscience Mentoring Program.
